Cicada Graphics & Communications is a creative development and communications company that offers services to their clients that include graphic design, web design, strategic marketing planning, event coordination, promotional communication and electronic advertising. Cicada has developed and maintained relationships with clients all over the country for over 15 years; many of whom started the first year or two of Cicada’s founding – and are still clients today. We have branded over 100 clients and launched as many original client websites since 2004. By striking a balance between form and function, Cicada has successfully delivered effective, lead-generating marketing tools to our customers for over 15 years.

About the Team Member:
Jeremy founded Cicada Graphics in 2004 just a few weeks after graduating from Central Missouri State University, but his background in promotional and visual arts started over a decade earlier when – throughout his elementary, jr high and high school career – he was published regularly as a cartoonist in the local papers. Since 2004, Jeremy has led a team of talented professionals using his eye for branding and his understanding of ever-changing technologies.

About the Team Member:
Kyle is a progressive leader with experience in strategy, marketing, advertising, account management, business development, special events, and customer experience. His diverse background in virtually every aspect of marketing and advertising has made him a creative and highly visual thinker as well as a valuable collaborative team builder who believes big ideas come from anywhere, great work is grounded in solid strategy, and experiences drive business.

About the Team Member:
Located in Lyon, France, and fluent in 3 languages (in addition to “speaking” science and marketing) Peter has over 20 years of international and multicultural experience working in R&D and biotechnology in Austria, France, Portugal, and the United States. He is the author or contributor to several highly-cited and peer-reviewed research articles on infection and immunity. Peter represents Cicada in the European region, and advises our global clientele on marketing matters like bioanalysis, biomarkers, and in-vitro diagnostics.

About the Team Member:
Located in New South Wales, Australia, Gary has over 25 years experience offering customers his talents in graphic design and scientific marketing project management. With multiple award-winning pieces representing pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical organizations across Australia, Cicada is proud to have Gary working with our customers across the APAC region and managing their projects related to graphic design, web design, branding, presentations, print media, and scientific marketing.

About the Team Member:
Michael has worked in the online marketing and website development industry for over 20 years. After graduating from Kansas State University in 1997 with a degree in graphic design, he started out with Propeller Interactive and quickly worked his way up to Creative director, working with companies like Dollar Rent-a-Car, Citgo, and Pearl Vision. Michael started working with Cicada in 2020 heading up Web & Application Development, Hosting & Security, Online Promotions and SEO.

About the Team Member:
Caroline got a degree in architecture and design from Mackenzie University, located in São Paulo city. She’s worked with design software that includes everything from AutoCad and SketchUp to the Adobe Suite. Caroline has worked as lead designer for City Hall in the city she lived in Brazil as well as a number of Architectural Offices. Since moving to the US to join her husband here, she has worked as Communications Director for a number of non profits and become a proud momma to two beautiful little ladies.

About the Team Member:
Warren has devoted decades honing his skills as a gifted communicator who can write and edit information to develop a clear, cohesive — and interesting — message. He stays current on the latest technology and ensures that Cicada is taking advantage of them in delivering messages to our clients’ target audiences. Warren’s experience in writing for both online audiences and print media have allowed him to develop a practiced attention to details – like catching those typos before anything goes out!

About the Team Member:
Alicen started her writing career early in life, spending much of her time writing structured stories and creative excerpts, and later submitting more refined pieces to various local and online competitions. She attended the University of Missouri in pursuit of a Business Management degree, and most recently has been parlaying her animal health studies background into targeted web content pieces for Cicada’s Pharma and biotech clients across the Animal Health Corridor, working to convey the quality of their platforms and study programs!

About the Team Member:
Austin started his videography career in 2018. Flash forward just four years and Austin is creating professional content for companies all around the country. His work has been featured on the Hallmark channel and multiple local networks around the Kansas City area. He has also worked with multiple Kansas City Chiefs players, and has created a number of powerful media solutions for other small businesses. His vision and production quality is unmatched and we are happy to have him as a part of our Cicada team!

About the Team Member:
From Western North Carolina, Neil began his journey into the world of Salesforce and marketing automation in 2014. Intrigued by the evolution of social media and internet marketing, he pursued his first admin certification in Pardot in 2016 and expanded into the world of marketing automation software thereafter, specializing in finding out how best for a company to communicate to a world of prospects. When away from the office, Neil can be found enjoying and writing music, cooking and embracing his inner nerd.
